On July 20th, AlterNatives in Carytown in Richmond, VA will be hosting The Bluegrass & Brews Festival. This event will honor the values of indigenous and mountain people with homegrown music, brews, and Southern Cuisine, in an event the whole community will enjoy.

Garden Grove Brewing Company, Legend Brewing, Hardywood, Center of the Universe, and Starr Hill will be on hand serving their finest hand crafted brews, and Rose & Eddie’s will be there  serving their made from scratch, down-home good cooking.

And performing live Adam Dawson, Amanda Beason, Charlie and the Darlings, The Come Hears, The Folly, K.F.C., Matt Monta, Ol’Riles Band, Tony Farris with Jon Green, and Wes & Rebecca will be bringing the mountains to you with some great Bluegrass music!

The event is free to attend. Beer will be $6, and food items will be priced individually. There will also be raffles and silent auctions to help raise money to provide assistance to these communities!

Live bluegrass music, handcrafted beers, and down home cooking. You are not going to want to miss this! Plan to attend and have a great time while supporting a great cause.

 

The Bluegrass & Brews Festival is befitting the Highland Support Project, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Richmond which partners with indigenous communities across the Americas to improve the quality of life and ecological health of these communities by providing financial and technical assistance for community-managed programs to address critical environmental and social issues to protect, preserve, and restore Mountain regions across the Americas.

    The 10th Annual Lynchburg Beer, Wine & Cider Festival will be held on Saturday, September 21st at the Lynchburg City Stadium from 12-7pm.

    Stone Brewing in RVA is celebrating their third anniversary in Richmond by once again taking over Brown's Island for a day of badass beers and bands on Saturday, Sep 21st!

    In addition to some amaizing craft beer, you can expect some incredible live music from:

    All of this year’s Stone’s Throw Down in RVA proceeds will benefit four local organizations:

    More than 25 Hampton Roads breweries will be participating in the 7th Annual 757 Battle of the Beers presented by Beach Ambassadors, Veer Magazine, and Virginia Craft Beer Magazine, an event that will benefit multiple Hampton Roads-based charities. In a year where the area’s oldest beer festival will be taking a pause, this all-inclusive event will return to Camp Pendleton in Virginia Beach on October 12, 2019, from 1pm to 6:30pm.

    The one-of-a-kind event features live music, includes food and of course tastings of every featured beer (two beers from each brewery = a LOT of craft beer!), corn hole, giant beer pong, and more!
